Sword “Tolögu”

Tolögu – Sword. This sword was used for fighting and for ceremonies by the noblemen of South Nias. The handle has the shape of a Lasara head, a mythological dragon like creature. There is a rattan ball (Rago) attached to the scabbard which is decorated with powerful magical objects. The objects are believed to increase strength and protect the owner against enemies.
